Instead of a traditional easter post ( one of my favorite holidays! ) I thought instead I'd talk a little about a great movie, Irving Berlin's "Easter Parade" from 1948 ( and yes, it's in COLOR )
Fred and Judy This fantastic movie has a little bit of romance, a little comedy, singing & dancing, great costumes and sets and is a whole lot of fun! Starring Fred Astaire, Judy Garland and Ann Miller ( who I met a few years ago! ), this movie has one of those 'showbiz' storylines which seems to help in a musical as it gives a REASON for all the singing and dancing -they're performing of course!
